Jason Hammond, EIT
USAC Road Category 1
Jason Hammond is building the future of bike fitting through increased access to motion analysis and marker tracking technology.
He earned his Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware and earned his Master’s Degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Computer Science. Jason’s main project is the development of bike fitting technology that uses marker tracking to effectively describe the motion of the cyclist on the bike. This technology allows fitters to see changes as a result of their modifications to the rider’s position. Jason’s interests include human biomechanics and human endurance performance and the development and validation of tools and technologies to better quantify the body. He also plays chess casually as a hobby.
